What are the health benefits of Australian EVOO?

Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is crushed within hours of olive harvest, so beneficial organic compounds are retained. It’s a rich source of polyphenols, Phyto-sterols and valuable antioxidants not naturally occurring in other oils. It’s also one of the principal sources of monounsaturated fat – the “good “fat – which, in conjunction with good food behaviours, may help reduce the risk of heart and cardiovascular disease.
